Carlo Ancelotti is all set to return to the club based out of Madrid after Zinedine Zidane was previously released of his duties

With Real Madrid failing to win a single trophy in the bygone edition of the Spanish season, the club decided it was best for a change at the top. Florentino Perez and the think tank at Real Madrid sat down to contemplate over the next best plausible move with parting ways with Frenchman Zinedine Zidane.

Zidane who was at the club for a second spell was wielded the axe over. He has ever since gone onto launch launching a thunderous attack at the La Liga side with him belittling Perez and accusing Real Madrid of undermining his worth.

In the midst of that bruhaha, Real Madrid were scouring for Zidane’s replacement with the club failing nailing down on its new choice. Previous Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti is all set to make the switch to the La Liga club with the Italian agreeing a three year contract with the side.

Fabrizio Romano affirmed the latest development with him taking to Twitter to reveal that Ancelotti had left Everton after agreeing terms with Real Madrid.

“Carlo Ancelotti will sign with Real Madrid until 2024 – three years contract confirmed,” Romano tweeted.

Real Madrid took to Twitter to welcome Ancelotti back.

Steven Gerrard Emerges On Everton’s Radar

Ancelotti who still had three years left on his contract at Everton has managed to successfully negotiations with the Everton bigwigs to agree upon an exit. The Italian had taken the Premier League side to a 10th place finish earlier in the bygone season.

Everton are not traversing for a new name to take over tutelage of their side with Steven Gerrard, Rafa Benitez, David Moyes, Paulo Fonseca, Erik ten Hag and Roberto Martinez all being considered by the club.

This will be Ancelotti’s second spell at Real Madrid. The first major agenda for him is bound to be to persuade captain Sergio Ramos to sign a new contract extension at the club.

The Spanish CB is currently said to be disinterested in staying at the club with Perez refusing to accord Ramos the pay rise he warrants. Real Madrid have meanwhile gone onto extend Lucas Vazquez’s contract by three years.
