Alongside the coveted trophy, the winning franchise earned a substantial $150,000, while the Venezuelan runners-up received $100,000. Meanwhile, Mexico’s Caneros de Los Mochis secured the third spot, earning a respectable $54,000.
These prizes are generously provided by the Caribbean Professional Baseball Confederation, the governing body overseeing the regional tournament.
Additionally, individual honors await, with the batting champion and the MVP of the final each receiving $5,000. Moreover, players receive a fee of $80. The Caribbean Series unfolds following the conclusion of the winter leagues across the Caribbean, serving as a preseason platform for MLB players before the onset of Spring Training.
