It’s simple to critique my response rather than the outcome.” In response to the tweet, Eli Apple wrote: “Cancun on 3.” The Bengals player also kept tweeting offensive things about his team’s triumph, including one in which he suggested Diggs and Allen go to couples therapy and offered to pay for it.

Many fans believe that Eli Apple was alluding to Billโs safety Damar Hamlin, even though he hasn’t specified what he meant specifically when he said, “Cancun on 3.”
According to Democrat And Chronicle, Damar Hamlin’s hallmark gesture has been the heart-hands emoji since the football community rallied behind him when he had a cardiac episode earlier this month. Apple added it in the Cancun tweet. Hamil also has a three.
The phrase “One, Two, Three, Cancun” is actually a sarcastic chant that Nick Van Exel started, according to Sporting News. Van Exel is said to have disrupted the pre-game huddle in 1998 by slipping in “Cancun” rather than “Lakers” before the fourth game of the Western Conference Finals versus the Jazz.
