In Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty will include a moral compass

The world is constantly evolving. Morality is no more a simple black-and-white issue in today’s world. It’s a bit drab. The external change necessitates more maturity on the part of game producers.

This mechanism will be given more importance in Modern Warfare 2, according to trusted leaker @Ralphvalve, and the game would have a “Moral Compass” system similar to Red Dead Redemption 2’s honour system. Which will govern players’ choices and have a huge impact on the storyline.

According to the sources, the next campaign will be around a drug cartel. And fan favourite Task Force 141 will make an appearance.

In addition, the gory elements of Warfare will be given more focus. Modern Warfare 2019 is already recognised for its realistic gore. But the next instalment will most likely contain a more accurate depiction of gruesomeness.

The previous Call of Duty instalment, which would have been the best Call of Duty in terms of the overall experience, featured a moral issue. The grey zones that players had to navigate during the campaign added realism and relevance to the game’s captivating plot.

Players may anticipate Infinity Ward to incorporate features from their last popular product MW (2019). To create a perfect combination of reality and the virtual world in the upcoming Call of Duty era.

This tidbit from a leak also hints that the new game would take players on a more emotional journey than missions and gunfights.

Neither the developer Infinity Ward nor Activision has confirmed any of these platforms. However, the chances of this system is included in the next title are better.
