Call of Duty is set to launch a new tournament called Call Of Duty League Resurgence Rebirth Island in 2022, know its schedule, qualifiers, date, time, prize pool
There will undoubtedly be no shortage of competitive games in 2022, and Call of Duty is bringing its Resurgence event to give players more alternatives. This event will be played exclusively on Rebirth Island on Resurgence Quads mode, with its own set of regulations.
The Rebirth Island was first introduced to Warzone following the release of Call of Duty: Cold War in 2020. While the map is entirely new for the battle royale mode, it does have some unique features that make it quite enjoyable and competitive. Activision’s decision to use this map for their forthcoming tournament open qualifiers seems understandable.

The tournament’s registration period has already begun and will finish on April 8, 2022, at 10 a.m. GMT. Players interested in participating can do so today by visiting the CDL registration page.
In terms of platforms, the competition will accept all types of gaming consoles and computers, including PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Furthermore, CDL will enable both controllers & MnK players, allowing players to be unrestricted by peripherals.
What is The CODL Tournament Format?
- Open Qualifiers Stage: The tournament body will look at each player’s ten games to compile an overall performance score for all four members of a team.
- Qualifiers Stage: Only five teams will proceed to the next group, therefore player average scoring from four maps will be closely examined.
- Main Stage: Teams will begin in the group stage after entering the CDL main stage, where only the top five teams will advance to Semi-Final A and B, accordingly.
By performing well during the in-game playlist, the top 40 four-person teams will qualify for the tournament’s qualifying stage. The qualifying stage will take place from April 11 to 15, with bracket play before the main stage event on April 24, which will pit six CDL teams against the top four qualifier teams.
The first-place team will receive $30,000. While the second-place team will receive $20,000. The third-place team will receive $15,000. Finally, the fourth-place team will receive $10,000. With all ten teams receiving a piece of the $100,000 prize pool.
Season 2 Reloaded, which will be available in Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone, released on March 23.
