Caitlin Clark joins Indian Fever
Clark was the No. 1 draft pick at the 2024 WNBA Draft, with Indiana Fever stepping in to pick her. Clark leaves behind her college basketball career as the NCAA’s all-time scoring champion. She managed to beat a 54-year record in the process, previously set by former LSU player Pete Maravich.
Aside from Clark, the rest of the top five draft picks were:

During an interview, Clark shared about her experiences, stating:
Sitting at the table, obviously knowing where I’m going, you still get a little bit anxious when the commissioner walks out and says your name. It’s a moment I’ve dreamed of since I was in second grade. To be there with my family at the table and share it with them was super special.”
