The players are ranked by the Badminton World Federation (BWF). The ranks are managed based on the level and advancement of the tournament from each player/pair.
For example, the winner at the BWF tournaments like World Championships and Olympic Games get 12,000 points while the Runner-up gets 10,200. At Super Series, the winner is awarded 11,000 points and so on.

The Chinese pair in 2020 clinched a silver medal at the Olympic Games against Indonesian pair Greysia Polii and Apriya Rahayu.
At the BWF World Championships, they won gold medals in the year 2017 and 2021.
2- Lee So-hee and Shin Seung-chan
The pair from South Korea won silver at the 2021 BWF World Championships against Chen Qingchen and Jia Yifan.
3- Kim So-yeong and Kong Hee-yong

The Indonesian pair had an absolute brilliant triumph at the 2020 Olympic Games bagging a gold medal against Chen Qingchen and Jia Yifan. The season 2018 and 2019 for them at the BWF World Championships ended with bronze medals.
7- Nami Matsuyama and Chiharu Shida
The Japanese pair won bronze at the BWF World Junior Championships in 2015 and Asian Junior Championships.
8- Jongkolphan Kititharakul and Rawinda Prajongjai
The pair from Thailand grabbed gold in the year 2017 at the Southeast Asian Games against the country duo Puttita Supajirakul and Sapsiree Taerattanachai.
