Another Indonesian pair making their way into the Top 10 are one of the two teams that competed for the Bronze medal in Tokyo 2020 Olympics, after they finish fourth. Besides this they have 3 Gold at World Championships namely in the years 2013,2015 and 2019.
3.) Lee Yang and Wang Chi-Lin
The Chinese Taipei pair currently defeated the Chinese pair of Li Junhui and Liu Yuchen in the Finals at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics in Men’s Double event to won their first Olympic Gold medal. Together they have competed in 10 BWF World Tour Finals winning 7 out of them.
4.) Takuro Hoki and Yugo Kobayashi
The current BWF World Champions Japanese pair are ranked fourth in the world and it’s not the first time they competed in the World Championship Finals, In 2019 too they competed in the finals but settled for the silver.
5.) Hiroyuki Endo and Yuta Watanabe
Following their country mates at No.6 we have another paired Japanese group who won gold at the 2019 Asian Championship. Yuta and Hiroyuki also came into the fame of the badminton lovers when they lifted All England Championship in to continuous years 2020 and 2021.
6.) Takeshi Kamura and Keigo Sonoda
The consecutive third Japanese pair in the ranking are also two time BWF World Championship medalists. Moreover together they have managed to bag four Asian Championship medals along their names and came as runners up in the 2021 All England Championship.
7.) Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik
After beating the current World No.2 pair , the Malaysians managed to secure third position and a Olympics medal alongside their name in Tokyo. Aaron and Chia together have competed in three BWF World Tour and are still looking for their first trophy.
8.) Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Rian Adrianto
The third Indonesian Pair in the Top 10 list of Fajan and Rian won bronze at the 2019 BWF World Championship held in Switzerland. So far they have managed to lift four BWF World Tour championships.
9.) Kim Astrup and Anders Skaarup Rasmussen
2021 BWF World Championship Bronze medalist Danish player moved one place up in the recent rankings and are placed at the 9th position. Also they are a four time European Championship medalists.
10.) Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty
In the Men’s team event at the Commonwealth games, 2018 they played a crucial role in winning team gold however they only managed to pick a silver in the men’s Double event. ย Also in the recently held 2020 Tokyo Olympics they were the only pair to defeat the Gold winning Chinese Taipei pair.
