Here is the complete list of BWF men’s and women’s Singles badminton rankings list in 2023, know the players to be ranked on the top
India’s top men’s doubles duo, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, moved up two spots to become World No. 1, their best-ever career-high ranking, in the most recent BWF World Rankings, which were released recently.
BWF men’s and women’s singles latest badminton ranking list and points in 2023
For the first time, Satwik and Chirag are the top-ranked team in the world with 92,411 ranking points. With this, Satwik and Chirag joined the esteemed Prakash Padukone, Saina Nehwal, and Kidambi Srikanth as the fourth Indian duo to occupy the top rank in the world.
Legendary Indian shuttler PV. Sindhu dropped three spots to take 15th place in the most recent BWF World rankings for women’s singles. With 51,070 points from 13 competitions, Sindhu has won two medals at the Olympics.
Since the beginning of the year, the former No. 2 has seen a significant drop in her ranking. Having started the 2023 season ranked seventh globally, she dropped out of the top 10 in April.
HS Prannoy, the top male singles player in India, is currently ranked eighth in the world. In May, he took home his first-ever BWF World Tour victory in the Malaysia Masters. Former world no. 1 Kidambi Srikanth is currently ranked 20th, barely below Lakshya Sen in the rankings.
