A Dimapur-based tech startup—Bujulo Pvt Ltd has launched its instant messaging app. It is made by a 23-year-old named Hiboka Sumi. The app is called Bujulo which means ‘touch it’ in the Sumi language.
The Bujulo app by Hiboka Sumi comes with features to send photos, videos, and also voice messages, besides sharing updates. It was unveiled on the 4th of April and will be available for download on Google Play and App Store. The owner of the app stated that this app is not just a social media app but in fact, it will become a super app in the coming years.
Who Is Hiboka Sumi And Biography
Hiboka Sumi has is a graduate of Arts. He attended a local college in Dimapur. Presently he is only 23 years old as of 2022 and he has achieved a lot of fame by making the Bugulo app.
The app was developed over three years. This was revealed by Sumi in an interview. It comes with interactive features like social e-commerce, transportation, and food delivery services that will be added as the app evolves.
He stated that, “We will try to bring an entire ecosystem in just one App. With the presence of the super app, the way we do everything from messaging to making payments to friends and others, and shopping while watching short entertaining videos will change. We will be iterating our features as well as our app.”
He also added to his statement that the app will be offering businesses, influencers, and local small businesses a wide range of special services. It will be based on an entirely new revenue model as well according to him. It will be soon available for downloads.
He added that the extra features will be updated in the next coming months, which includes the ‘Meet,’ a feature that will allow users to select how they would like to add new friends alongside the filters, stickers, and funny emojis.
Kuhoi Zhimomi, who officially launched the startup, said that it was encouraging to have Naga entrepreneurs who are coming up with such concepts and implementing them. He expressed confidence that the efforts of entrepreneurs like 23 years old Sumi would affect positive change in our society and helping out to generate employment opportunities for others.
