BigHit Music have announced that our favourite idol group BTS will not be seen altogether for a while as the music label confirmed that the group will be enlisted in the mandatory Korean military service, know its schedule and dates
The two times Academy Award nominated South Korean K-Pop group will be enlisting in the military service as per the enlistment procedure of the Korean government.

So BTS enlisting for military service first one is Jin and then other members will follows according to their schedule, and BTS will be back as a group in 2025

Here’s everything that you might need to know about BTS’ enlistment schedule and mandatory military service.
The announcement regarding the BTS military service came after their successful Busan Concert on October 15th which received more than 50 million views worldwide, as BigHit Music earlier stated.
Along with their enlistment schedule, the K-Pop Army has also got a tentative time frame for the BTS reunion.
As per the BTS’ label BigHit Music, the idol group will start their Korean mandatory military service this year with Jin’s enlistment.
The statement of the label reads, “Group member Jin will initiate the process as soon as his schedule for his solo release is concluded at the end of October.
“He will then follow the enlistment procedure of the Korean government. Other members of the group plan to carry out their military service based on their own individual plans.”
According to the statement, it is clear that the members of the group will not be enlisting altogether as the statement reveals that they will be following a schedule and coming back as a group within 3 years.
For those who are unaware, let us tell you, BTS will follow the standard military service procedure which means each member will be serving in the military for at least 18 months as per the Korean government rule.
However the Music label BigHit has assured BTS’ fans that the K-Pop group will be reuniting by 2025.
In a statement, the label stated, “Both the company and the members of BTS are looking forward to reconvening as a group again around 2025 following their service commitment.”
After learning of the announcement, fans flooded Twitter with messages like BTS Army Will ‘Wait’ For BTS’ Reunion.
Speaking about the reunion of the group in 2025, a fan penned, “I’ll be with you for the rest of my life – For Youth, ARMYs will wait for you at the magic shop door until we meet again @BTS_twt.”
According to the announcement, Jin will be releasing his solo album first before enlisting in the military.
Followed by Jin, other solo albums are also set to be released as Yoongi, Namjoon and more members have confirmed working on their solo projects.
