Bryan Kohberger, who is charged and arrested in connection with the Idaho quadruple murders, is once again in headlines as it was revealed that he worked as a “fish cutter,” at a lake in Pennsylvania
As per the reports, the suspect of the Idaho University students’ murder started working at the lake years before he was reportedly fired from his teaching job at Washington State University.

In 2011, the owner of Big Brown Fish and Pay Lakes in Effort, Charles Conklin, said that Bryan worked for him for around 4 months as a seasonal employee. At the time, he was still a high school student.
Conklin, who reportedly trained Bryan to cut and fillet raw fish with industry standard knives, claimed that he forbade the Idaho suspect from interacting with customers because of his behavior.
In a conversation with the People, Conklin said, “He never warmed up and got friendly. Most kids that work here, we consider like family. He was withdrawn and didn’t show improvement.”
The murder suspect was reportedly fired from his job of teaching assistant from the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology, Washington State University after 11 years. A termination letter of Bryan was obtained by NewsNation.
The University cut ties with Bryan effectively from December 31, 2022, after two separate alleged “altercations,” with a professor. He was fired from his post weeks after he stabbed the 4 University students to death.
The 28-year-old has been accused of fatally stabbing four students including Kaylee, 21, Madison, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, 20, in their off-campus 3 story rented apartment on November 13, 2022.
However, he was arrested on December 30, 2022 in Albrightsville, Pennsylvania. In another news, months after the gruesome killing, it was revealed that Bryan had pictures of one of the female victims on his phone.
A phone belonged to Bryan was collected after his arrest. From his phone authorities find pictures of the victim. However, it is still unclear if the pictures were taken by Bryan or downloaded from their social media handles.
A source revealed to the media outlet the People that, “He had more than one picture of her,” adding, “It was clear that he was paying attention to her.”
In the last two weeks before the murder, Bryan sent a series of messages to one of the victims on his Instagram. However, he reportedly had a clear report apart from drug addiction.
Kohberger was a PhD student in Washington State University’s Departed of Criminal Justice and Criminology.
