Bryan Kohberger was known by Pappa Rodger on Facebook and InsideLooking on Reddit

The name of Bryan Kohberger, who is suspected of killing four students at the University of Idaho, has been circulating on several social media sites as a participant in online forums with him Papa Rodger on Facebook and InsideLooking on Reddit

Also he was also contributing to these conversations and offering helpful advice.

The murder weapon was a sharp knife, and he even went so far as to describe it and tell the authorities where to find the sheath for it in one of the social media posts. As it turned out, this was the precise data. An ex-FBI agent is likewise convinced that Kohberger participated in these conversations, which garnered considerable media coverage.

Bryan Kohberger was known by Pappa Rodgers on Facebook and InsideLooking on Reddit account

The deaths of Kaylee Goncalves, Ethan Chapin, Maddie Mogen, and Xana Kernodle have been heavily influenced by Jennifer Coffindaffer, a former FBI agent. Also after investigation, she has concluded that the WSU PhD student used the handles “Pappa Rodger” on Facebook and “InsideLooking” on Reddit.

Was Pappa Rodger on Facebook his? from BryanKohberger

The content uploaded and commented on by these two accounts is eerily similar to the recently revealed affidavit. Twitter user Coffindaffer wrote, “As a curious observer, I have kept up with the #papparodger conversation. After the PCA came out, this remark took on added significance. Those remarks really ring true… Bryan Christopher Kohler, Suspect No. 4 in the Idaho Four Homicides, Mosquito Killer Suspect.”

Several people in these online communities became suspicious of Bryan Kohbeger’s whereabouts within hours of his arrest. Coffindaffer carried on the conversation and wrote, “He drove his own car, carried his phone, and didn’t Clip in his sheath tight enough, so I do believe he could leave a digital trail. He was a hot mess. Intelligence w/no common sense equals a criminal bound to be caught. #bryankohburger #moscowhomicide “

Could Bryan Kohberger be Pappa Rogers?

A user mentioned, “I took screenshots of everything Pappa Rodger posted. This is one of the creepiest. Pappa posted the question as to why the killer chose that house. This commenter listed potential reasons and Pappa simply responded with “Excellent.”

I guess Bryan’s reason is within that commenters post. Also if Pappa was just a random guy, I feel his response would’ve been different than “excellent.”” In one of the Facebook posts, Pappa Rodgers posted, “Of the evidence released, the murder weapon has been consistent as a large fixed blade knife. This leads me to believe they found the sheath. This evidence was released prior to autopsies.”

In reference to a particular thread, one member commented. “If Papa Rodger is Bryan this particular post he made becomes more interesting. Nobody commented nor liked the posts, including myself when it was made. He may be providing a clue to the other two unsolved murders in Oregon and Washington that also happened on the 13th of the month?”

Murderer came in from sliding door

Another user found a Reddit post made by InsideLooking which reads, “Killer parked behind the house. Approached property through tree line. Entered sliding door and left it open. Committed murders and exited sliding door. One knife according to corners statement. Time of murder approximately 3:20am – 3:40 am according to car fleeing scene and on camera on highway 8 approximately 3:45am. Vehicle left skid marks upon exit.”

Pappa Rodger’s posts in the University of Idaho Murders – Case Discussion Facebook page have been compared by true-crime investigators to the tone of a Reddit poll Kohberger published as a student researcher studying the motivations and emotions of killers.

Pappa Rodger’s Facebook profile image is an artist’s rendition of a soldier. But many people think it looks just like Kohberger. People have argued both for and against the hypothesis that Pappa Rodger was Bryan Kohberger in online comment threads on social media sites like Facebook and Reddit, but no conclusive evidence linking the two has been found. Also since Pappa Rodger’s page went popular, other imitators have sprung up, making it impossible to determine when he last updated.

Roomates saw a masked face

As part of their case against Bryan Kohberger, prosecutors on Thursday issued a probable cause document, in which one of the two surviving roommates describes seeing a masked figure dressed in black at the residence on the morning of the attack.

D.M., the roommate cited in the paper, reported hearing “sobbing” and “a male voice saying, ‘it’s ok, I’m going to help you'” on the morning of the murders. D.M. then “saw a figure wrapped in black clothing. And a mask that concealed the person’s mouth and nose heading towards her,” as stated in the affidavit.
