There has been a veritable deluge of new speculations about the suspect in this case from amateur Internet detectives all over social media since the arrest of the accused. Someone recently stated that the apprehended suspect, Khoberger, had a Reddit account and offered several theories about the case.

Bryan Kohberger allegedly tried to defend Jack Showalter, also known as the “hoodie guy,” who was a prime suspect in the eyes of online detectives. Because he was spotted at the food truck when Goncalves and Mogen were there and seemed to follow them when they departed, he was flagged as a potential threat.

The individual posted many screengrabs of the Reddit thread to their Twitter account. “#BryanKohberger is actually dumb as a rock, and his ego is his doom,” the commenter commented. A purported screenshot of Khoberger’s post clearing Jack Showalter of wrongdoing reads, “Agreed! JS is not guilty.”

The culprit may be Showalter, as he was just expelled from his fraternity and was thought to have access to the same type of knife that was used in the stabbing deaths of four students at the University of Idaho, according to online rumours.

Earlier, it was reported that the “hoodie guy” didn’t appear to be dangerous or harbour any ill will against the victims. Joe Vidot, an eyewitness, said, “I saw the dude in the hoodie go up with them. What I sensed from him was that he’s really sweet and kind.” Indeed, the Idaho police had already admitted that the individual in the video was no longer being considered a suspect.
