A screenshot of an ASKfm account said to be Kohberger’s was recently shared on Reddit. One user said he appeared “quite regular,” while another claimed he “he probably killed drug dealers.” based on the profile image.

On the night of November 13, 2022, in their off-campus rental property on King Road in Moscow, Idaho, Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle, Madison Mogen, and Kaylee Goncalves were brutally murdered with knives. Kohberger, the primary suspect, has been charged with four counts of murder and burglary. While in court on Thursday, January 12, Kohberger gave up his right to a swift preliminary hearing.

Information strongly implicating Kohberger was released in the probable cause affidavit on January 5th, including phone records showing Kohberger was in the area of the murders at least 12 times prior to the particularly gruesome incident and the discovery of a knife sheath with his DNA on it, which was left at the scene. One of the survivors, Dylan Mortensen, even claimed to have “seen” him.

A couple of screenshots from what is likely Kohberger’s ASKfm account were released on Reddit. Someone posted, “I looked up BK on ASKfm (a website where you can ask people questions anonymously) and sure enough I found his profile. I’m not sure when his account was created as there is no mention of the date but he does look younger in his profile picture. It does not show any activity either. ASKfm was popular among high schoolers in my country around 2012/2013.”

In an interview with local media, the relative of one of the four University of Idaho students killed last year has described how they found out about the tragedy. Authorities around the country were shaken by the murders, and on December 30 they arrested a PhD criminology student from Washington State University, Bryan Kohberger.

Victims family members reflect shock over the incident

The Goncalves described their shock and grief upon hearing the news of Kaylee’s death through a relative in a video interview posted on the YouTube channel Chronicles of Olivia on Friday. The interview was filmed two days before to Mr. Kohberger’s arrest.

It all started with an unsuccessful attempt to contact Goncalves and Mogen. At first, the family was advised by police that they could not discuss the case until an officer arrived at the door. To confirm that their daughter had been murdered.

As the suspect awaits his next court appearance on June 26, new information keeps coming to light. Including some unsettling internet comments and posts he made. The New York Post claims Mr. Kohberger published a scary rap song on Soundcloud in which he called himself a “demon” and warned, “don’t f*** with us, you underestimate.”
