The Indian Olympian who won Silver medal at the Paris Olympics 2024 secured his place in the final after finishing fourth in the Diamond League standings with 14 points.
The two-time Olympic medalist who took second place at the Lausanne and Doha diamond league events, achieving his best throws of 89.49m and 88.36m, respectively.

Meanwhile, Avinash Sable, who will compete in the men’s 3000m steeplechase event, was previously participated in the Paris Olympics and finished 11th.
The 29-year-old track and field athlete qualified for the 3000m steeplechase final at the Olympics 2024, where he showed impressive timing of 8:14.18.
In August 2024, the Subedar, who works in the Mahar Regiment unit, placed 14th at the Silesia Diamond League, with a time of 8:29.96.
In the overall Diamond League steeplechase standings, Sable is in 14th place with three points. Reportedly, the Indian Olympian holds the national record of 8:09.91, that he secured at the Paris Diamond League 2024, after finishing at the 6th spot.
