While the events will take place across different venues in Brussels, the King Baudouin Stadium will host the majority of events.
2023 Brussels Diamond League athletes to watch
Shot put world champion Chase Ealey is the first notable name to compete in Brussels this year. Canada’s Sarah Mitton will be a notable competitior. Meanwhile, Jamaican international Shericka Jackson will be the name to watch in the women’s 200m. Mondo Duplantis is one of the top names set to compete in the pole vault event of the upcoming competition. His main competitor will be world silver medallist EJ Obiena.
In the men’s 2000m, of the 2023 Brussels Diamond League, Jakob Ingebrigtsen is one of the top athletes worth watching. He will face stiff competition from Spain’s Mo Katir, and fellow Norwegian Narve Gilje Nordas. Mary Moraa is a top athlete worth watching in the women’s 400m alongside Sada Williams of Barbados and Lieke Klaver.
Meanwhile, Femke Bol could race in the 400m hurdles instead of the flat 400m in the upcoming event. In the men’s 400m, Kirani James and Quincy Hall are the top names worth watching.
