The Wera Tools F4 British Championship certified by FIA today announces its 2026 season calendar
Comprising of ten events and 30 races, the UK’s premier single-seater series will once again compete at some of the most iconic circuits in both the UK and mainland Europe, including two current and two historic Formula 1 circuits.
Supporting the British Touring Car Championship at eight race meetings, British F4 will continue to enjoy live free-to-air television coverage on ITV4 and ITVX, whilst those watching outside the UK can follow these broadcasts via the championship’s YouTube channel.
Donington Park’s National layout provides the setting for the 2026 season-opener on April 18-19, before the series heads to Brands Hatch for three frenetic contests around the Kent track’s Indy configuration on May 9-10.
May is set to be a busy one for teams and drivers, as the end of the month will see back-to-back events play out at Snetterton and then Silverstone, with the world-famous Grand Prix layout being utilised.
Following the summer break, the series resumes with a third successive annual visit to Zandvoort in the Netherlands – scene of the Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix – on July 11-12 before descending on the fastest circuit in the UK, Thruxton, just two weeks later.
A return to Donington Park – this time to tackle the longer Grand Prix circuit layout – preludes a trip to Croft before the Home of British Motor Racing, Silverstone, stages the penultimate event of the campaign at the end of September on its National layout.
Britain’s Formula 4 series will then crown its champions and bring the curtain down on another hotly anticipated year of single-seater competition around the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit on October 10-11.
Eve Lake-Grange, British F4 Championship Manager, said: “We are pleased to unveil the calendar for the 2026 season of the Wera Tools F4 British Championship certified by FIA.
“This year has been exceptionally competitive, and one of the key contributing factors has been the diverse range of circuits featured throughout the season. Preserving that variety was a priority for us in planning the upcoming calendar, and I believe we have once again achieved a well-balanced and exciting mix of venues.
“Competing at current Formula 1 venues such as Silverstone and Zandvoort presents an invaluable opportunity for our drivers and teams. While these are undoubtedly standout events, we are equally enthusiastic about returning to iconic British circuits including Brands Hatch Indy and Croft.
“We are fortunate to have so many challenging tracks in the UK that offer our drivers unique development opportunities on their tight and technical characteristics, while also being able to balance that with visits to so many GP tracks including current Formula 1 venues. This allows our grid of drivers unrivalled opportunities to hone their race craft and ensure they are building a sound foundation of skills necessary for them to progress in the future.”
“We are also delighted to continue our association with the British Touring Car Championship package. The TOCA paddock offers unparalleled television coverage and serves as a fantastic platform for our drivers to develop their skills, gain experience, and enjoy their racing.”
