Users on social media have located the Twitter account of Brian Walshe, who was arrested on charges of “misleading police” on January 9 in connection with the search for his missing wife, Ana, 39
Local news outlets have identified 46-year-old Walshe as the prime suspect in his wife’s disappearance. Ana, a mother of three, was last seen at her house at 4 a.m. on New Year’s Eve, when she vanished without a trace. A work situation required her to fly from Boston to Washington, DC, but she missed her flight.
Since Ana vanished, the internet has continued to strike out at Brian, a renowned scammer, calling him names like “cold blooded criminal.” Court filings show that Brian’s family has accused him of stealing a Salvador Dali artwork and scamming his late father, Thomas, out of over a million dollars. Thomas died suddenly in India in 2018.

According to multiple sources, Brian’s post-arrest comments to police were inconsistent and unconvincing. Prosecutors informed the local newspaper that Walshe claimed he went out to eat ice cream with his son on January 2, but surveillance footage showed him buying cleaning goods at a Home Depot in Rockland. The US Sun reported on January 10 that Brian was charged in court after prosecutors claimed they uncovered a bloody, broken knife in the couple’s basement.

Netizens have discovered what appears to be Brian’s Twitter account, where he follows names that signal he wants to keep watch of the ongoing case against him, while the internet continues to pray for Ana’s safety and hopes authorities will be able to locate her soon.
The user ‘More-Marionberry-143,’ who posted on Reddit, claims to be Brian and exhibits a Twitter account where he follows NCSC, CyberGuardNews, ThreatPost, and Homeland Security, among others. An upsurge in responses to the thread has increased the online community’s hatred towards Brian.
