England Cricket Board has roped in the former New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum as their head coach of the test format, know his salary

Joe Root stepping Down from Captaincy

Earlier this month England’s best batsman Joe Root stepped down from captaincy after 2016. Root’s stepping down from the captaincy role made it very clear that the team is looking toward a change in the system. Ben Stokes was looking only worthy candidate for captaincy in that team and later on, ECB announced him as the English Test team captain.

Brendon McCullum will Get 2 million Euro in the 4-year deal

ECB sacked Chris Silverwood as the head coach of the England test team because of a string of series defeats. Brendon McCullum will get a hefty contract as ECB head coach and he will have a huge responsibility on his shoulders.

According to Telegraph.co.UK, Brendon will earn 2 Million Euros (18.8 crore INR) for a 4-year contract as ECB test team head coach. ECB is a cash-rich board and it’s no surprise at all that they have payed their Head coach a good amount of money in order to see the success.

ECB to name new head coach for limited-overs in coming weeks

England Cricket Board is yet to announce their white-ball head coach after the sacking of Silverwood. Paul Collingwood is likely to be the head coach of England’s limited-overs team.

Although England has been playing quite well in white-ball cricket. With the changing of head coach England will be eying for the T20 world cup happening at the year-end in  Down Under. England has a quality white ball squad that needs a steady head in the dugout and Collingwood is very suitable for that role.
