Brandon John Staley, an American football coach, was born on December 10, 1982, in Perry, Ohio, U.S. From 2021 to 2023, he served as head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League (NFL), which was his most recent role.

After attending the University of Dayton, Staley began his two seasons as the Flyers’ quarterback, leading the squad to a 16–5 record in 2003–2004. At Mercyhurst College, where he played football in 2005, he concluded his playing career.
Talking about his coaching career, before working with defensive linemen and special teams at Division III St. Thomas (Minnesota) in 2009, Brandon started his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Northern Illinois in 2006–08.
