Brahmastra OTT Release Date, Rights, Platform, Plot Story And Cast List

The Bollywood movie Brahmastra is doing well in theatres despite its delayed release since it has outperformed expectations. Despite the negative reviews and social media boycotts, the movie did well by being the first to reach the 100 crore club in the first week. The first instalment of Brahmastra is now moving toward an OTT platform release.

OTT Rights 

According to the latest sources, Disney Plus Hotstar has paid Rs 85 crore for the OTT rights to the movie.  

Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni, they didn’t make much of a profit. The screenplay is written and directed by Ayan Mukerji. Brahmastra will soon be available on Disney Plus Hotstar.

The picture is anticipated to be available close to Diwali, though the makers have not specified a certain release date. However, the movie is likely to make its OTT debut on Disney Plus Hotstar on Sunday, October 23, the day before Diwali, which falls on October 24. If you already have a Disney + Hotstar subscription, you won’t have any trouble watching the movie. 

Plans for Disney+ Hotstar 

You have a choice between the “Super” and “Premium” plans if you want to subscribe to Disney+ Hotstar in India. Users would be charged Rs 299 per month if they choose to sign up for the premium plan. By doing this, you can stream content to up to four devices, including a laptop, a smartphone, and a television. 

With the exception of sports, you will have access to ad-free movies and TV series, and you will be able to watch content on gadgets that support 4K playback and Dolby 5.1 audio. Meanwhile, the charge for the premium plan for a year is Rs 1,499. 

Disney+ Hotstar also provides a Super plan for a full year for Rs. 899. This plan allows you to watch media on up to two devices with Full HD and Dolby 5.1 compatibility. You should be aware that this plan does not let you stream UHD content to 4K TVs or remove adverts from your TV.
