The actor who bagged the Screen Actors Guild Award for his outstanding performance in a 2016’s comedy series reportedly died in his sleep. However the official cause of the actor’s death is yet to be known.
Who was Brad William Henke?
For those who are unfamiliar with Brad William Henke, let us tell you, the Nebraska native was a NFL player before switching his career and becoming an actor.
The former player used to play for the New York Giants and Denver Broncos. He was drafted by the New York Giants in 1989 NFL Draft, however, he got cut during his training camp.
Later he was picked up by the Denver Broncos, and he appeared for the Super Bowl XXIV against the San Francisco 49ers. All his career stats can be found here.
He got multiple injuries while playing which required somewhat around 6 ankle surgeries which led him to retire from professional football in 1994 to become an actor.
In the same year as his retirement, the former player started working in advertisements.
During his work in the commercials, he appeared in several brand’s advertisements including Around June, Choke, World Trade Center, October Road, Sherrybaby, Must Love Dogs and Fury, The Amateurs, and many more.
