Brad William Henke Big Sky Episode 7 Role As He’s Paid Tribute To In Season 3 Fall Finale
Fans watched the season 3 autumn finale, A Thin Layer Of Rock, on December 7, 2022. It finished in a stressful way and set up what would happen when the show returned in 2023. Nevertheless, despite the significance of the incident, Big Sky did not pause to pay honour to Brad William Henke.

As it prepared for its comeback in the new year, the final episode of Big Sky season 3’s fall season was brimming with mystery and drama. Big Sky made sure to pause before paying a moving tribute to Brad William Henke, despite the exciting climax.
The touching phrase “In Memory Of Our Friend, Brad William Henke” flashed on the screen just before the episode’s closing credits rolled.
Brad William Henke- Who Is He?
On November 29, 2022, at the age of 56, Brad William Henke, an actor and former NFL football player, passed away unexpectedly. Henke played the uncredited part of Del Lucan in the third season’s seventh episode of Big Sky, which was his sole brief appearance.
Henke played in the NFL professionally before switching to acting. The New York Giants selected him in the 1989 Draft, but he was later cut during the training camp. The Denver Broncos signed him, and he even participated in Super Bowl XXIV in 1990, which the Broncos lost badly to the San Francisco 49ers. Henke went to acting in 1994 after having to give up football due to a string of ankle ailments.
Over the course of a 25-year career, Henke appeared in 100 film and television roles after making his professional acting debut in 1996.
In November 2022, Brad’s life was sadly cut short when he passed away in his sleep. The actor’s cause of death has not been publicly revealed although Henke has previously been upfront about many health difficulties on his Instagram page. The actor disclosed in May 2021 that he had narrowly avoided having a 90% blockage of his artery. A month later, he wrote in another article that he had undergone treatment for a “golf (ball) sized” tumour that required the removal of half of his pancreas, his spleen, and two cardiac stents.
Brad William Henke’s Previous Roles
Brad William Henke switched from playing football to acting and 100 performed in both cinema and television. After making his acting debut in the 1996 film Mr Wrong, he went on to have a successful career that lasted 25 years.
The TV shows The Stand, Manhunt: Deadly Games, Sneaky Pete, Justified, Lost, Dexter, and Going to California, as well as individual episodes of The Office, Criminal Minds, and Hawaii Five-0, feature some of Brad’s most renowned work.
Henke has acted in films including Space Jam, Bright, Fury, Pacific Rim, and M on the big screen. While he was scheduled to make a posthumous appearance in the upcoming movie Ray, Night Shyamalan’s Split.
However, Brad’s possibly most well-known performance was as the prison guard Desi Piscatella in the Netflix series Orange Is The New Black. He was a member of the ensemble that won the 2016 Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
Big Sky season 3 comes to ABC on January 4, 2023.
