All it took for the young Rohit, who had lost interest in boxing for some time, was a school bully to help him regain his passion. Since that day, Rohit has never had to look back with him taking up the sport since he was 7 years old.
Born in Delhi’s Munirka neighborhood, Rohit and his older brother fell in love with boxing after seeing boxing movies on television, prompting their father to enroll them in a local club.
Tokas, who required three months to recover from a knee injury suffered at the India Open event in May, took his time learning Vanhlimpuia’s game.
