What Exactly Happened so far?
The previous chapter starts with SHikadi reporting about the current situation and asking for a backup. The fans learned more about the nine-tail chakra which was inside the Himawari according to Jura. He didn’t know why it was like that but he was excited.
Jura told them that he had only come for the nine-tail. He will leave after taking Himawari with him. However, the Shikadai and others weren’t happy and decided to let Himawari escape while trying to stall Jura.
On the other hand, Kawaki woke up and had a talk with Delta. Boruto also got to know about the situation in the village through the toads of Kashin Koji. He decided to head back. Before he could reach and intercept Jura he was engaged by Kawaki.
But he dealt with Kawaki pretty easily and explained the situation. Meanwhile, Himawari was escaping with Inojin on his bird. She can’t understand why are they after her and the nine tails. She doesn’t know anything about it.
That’s when she suddenly ends up in the mental plane with mini Kurama. He was hiding his chakra signature inside of her but now they have found her. He asked her whether she knew him or not. That’s where the chapter ended with a huge plot twist and cliffhanger.
