The makers of Boruto have finally dropped the the spoilers of Chapter 81 and made the fans of the series really curious about what will happen in the upcoming installment with the leaks viral on Twitter and Reddit along with the cover
While fans were anticipating the reunion of Boruto and Sasuke, they were disappointed to learn that Sasuke will not feature in the manga’s next chapter.

However, the disclosures revealed some information about what was supposed to happen first following the time jump and what had occurred over the lapse of time. Shikamaru Nara became the Eighth Hokage after the “death” of the Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki.
Boruto begins with a scene from the Hokage office in which Sarada Uchiha may be seen with a displeased expression. She was seen arguing with Shikamaru, who was wearing the Hokage cloak at the scene.
Boruto Part 1 ended with Kawaki duping the entire world into believing Boruto murdered the Seventh Hokage Naruto Uzumaki. Kawaki, in truth, had walled Naruto and Hinata away in another dimension.
Given that the Hidden Leaf Village will very probably require a new Hokage, Shikamaru Nara may have temporarily assumed the job. That, however, would not make sense given that everyone believes Naruto is dead. As a result, there was no necessity for anyone to serve as an interim.
Sarada Uchiha can be seen debating with Shikamaru regarding Boruto’s innocence in manga spoilers. However, because Eida’s ability was concrete, she was unable to persuade him. Shikamaru expressed concern for Sarada as a Shinobi, stating that her role model is the Seventh Hokage, not him.
While Sarada has virtually always referred to Naruto by his title, Sarada’s emphasis in doing so may indicate that Shikamaru was now the Eighth Hokage.
Furthermore, the manga showed various character designs while hinting at what the specific characters had been doing throughout the time jump. Sumire can be seen wearing a dress over a shirt and tie in her new outfit. As the context suggests, she appears to be actively working with Sarada to help Boruto, whose name has been tainted.
Himawari’s new character design is revealed in another panel. She has changed her haircut and is now sporting long locks. She is also wearing a Sunflower design crop top and jeans. Himawari appears to have been striving to get stronger by training with Cho Cho, as revealed in manga spoilers. She does not believe Boruto is a nasty person and believes her parents are still alive.
Finally, fans got to see Mitsuki’s new character design. Mitsuki is now dressed in all-black with a belt, as opposed to his former light-blue and white outfit. Furthermore, because Eida’s ability switched Boruto and Kawaki’s positions, he is now opposing Boruto and working with Kawaki.
