Even though the upcoming episode of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations has yet to be released internationally, the series has already become popular on social media as a result of its leaked spoilers. However, due to the leaked spoilers, a fresh rumor is now making the rounds online today, suggesting that the Boruto manga will also be taking a break.
Boruto chapter 81 release date, time and reason for manga hiatus
The unfortunate news about a probable halt to the monthly release is starting to surface online as readers of the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga continue to process the chapter 80 spoilers that were published.
Three Month Hiatus
Popular leakers Abdul_Zol2 and DBShype claim that the Boruto manga series is about to enter a fresh hiatus and will stop being published for the upcoming few months. I believe Sarada Uchiha [is on the cover], according to DBShype. The bigger news is that the Boruto manga is taking a break until July; the following chapter will be released in August.
Abdul_Zol2 then confirmed this, saying: “BREAKING: Boruto Manga will be taking a 3-month break!! When the October issue of VJump is published in August 2023, the serial is scheduled to restart. Thus, the 20th of August 2023 has been set aside for the publishing of Boruto Chapter 81.
Fans should be aware that neither mangaka Masashi Kishimoto, publishers Shueisha, domestic distributors in V Jump, nor external distributors have yet to confirm this information.
The side text for chapter 80, which was revealed in the leaked spoilers, concluded with the phrase “The Story Enters a New Chapter,” suggesting that the infamous time jump might occur between chapters 80 and 81. However, this is still only a fan idea at this point.
However, some people in the fandom have been anticipating a vacation for a while, particularly after the anime adaptation announced its own break last month.

Boruto Chapter 81 will be delayed since the manga is going on a hiatus for the next four months due to unknown reasons and chapter 81 will be released on Monday, 21 August 2023, at 12:00 AM JST.

Sadly, the approaching manga gap is a little source of worry for anime adaptation fans who may have thought the series will return by August 2023. This is partial because the anime had been rapidly gaining up to the original series, and the TV break was planned to give the manga the opportunity to move ahead in terms of available content.
If the manga series is also scheduled to take a break until August, this indicates that the anime may also be required to prolong its break if the Studio Pierrot production team wants to have more content ready before Part Two starts.
The good news is that over the coming few months, there should be a ton of new Boruto/Naruto content to look forward to. In addition to four brand-new episodes of the original Naruto anime, a special performance dubbed “Naruto The Live” with tunes by Kana-Boon, Chico (of Honeyworks), Flow, Humbreaders, Anly, and others will be held.
