Borussia Dortmund is seeking a potential replacement for Edin Terzic with the new next manager odds now out
For the unversed, earlier Die Borussen took to X and announced that the German football coach has voluntarily parted ways with the club.
This news came a few days after an alleged heated argument between Terzic and Mats Hummels.

The alleged argument between the two reportedly occurred before the Champions League final.
Now, in a statement, the Der BVB announced that “Borussia Dortmund and coach Edin Terzic are parting ways. The 41-year-old, who won the DFB Cup with BVB in 2021, finished runner-up in 2023, and reached the Champions League final in 2024.
“He requested an immediate contract termination. After a joint discussion, Borussia Dortmund agreed to his request.”

Potential Candidates
As per reports from the odds checker site, the two potential candidates who can replace Terzić are Jurgen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel as the two are most likely linked to the vacant position.
Reports suggest Jurgen Klopp has a 10/1 chance of returning to Dortmund, while his most likely next destination is the German national team with a best price of 2/9 (82% implied chance).
Klopp previously led Dortmund to back-to-back Bundesliga titles from 2010-2012. Meanwhile, Thomas Tuchel, who managed Dortmund from May 2015 to June 2017 before moving to PSG, is another potential candidate.

Nuri Sahin
For the unversed, a club hero from the Jürgen Klopp era, Sahin has returned as an assistant manager after leaving his role as manager of Turkish Süper Lig side Antalyaspor, and is a potential replacement for Terzić.
Roger Schmidt
Another candidate for replacing Terzić is Schmidt, who is currently with Benfica. Roger Schmidt is a native of Kierspe, around 30 miles from Dortmund. Schmidt won the double with RB Salzburg in the 2013-14 season.
He spent three years with Bayer Leverkusen, guiding them to consecutive top-four finishes and the Champions League knockouts in 2015. He later won cups in China with Beijing Guoan and with PSV in 2022.

At 45, the Feyenoord manager has quickly risen through the ranks, marking him as a promising candidate for Dortmund.
Julen Lopetegui
With extensive experience, including managing Spain and Real Madrid and securing multiple European Championships with Spain’s youth teams, Lopetegui will bring a wealth of expertise to Dortmund.
Will Still
The Anglo-Belgian has captured social media attention and has built a career as a video analyst and assistant manager in Belgium, becoming Stade Reims’ permanent manager in October 2022. He is also seen as another potential replacement for Terzić.
