With this victory, Andrea Shaw got a $50,000 monetary prize, while Angela Yeo, who placed second, received $20,000, Helle Trevino got $12,000 for taking third place, and Margie Martin earned $7,000 for finishing in fourth place.

Andrea Shaw is a well-known American professional bodybuilding champion and figure competitor. She has been in the news because she recently won the 2022 Ms. Olympia competition.
She was born on December 18, 1983. She was brought up in Detroit, Michigan. She is currently living in Clinton Township, Michigan. Her mother is a nurse and a former personal trainer.
Andrea Shaw did her schooling at Benjamin Nolan Middle School. While in school, she was worn out from cheering and gymnastics. Later, she started going to the gym. Later, she earned a BA in exercise and sports science from Wayne State University.
She obtained her certificates in group training and personal training while interning at the Detroit Medical Center and working in Beaumont’s physical therapy division.

Her Career
After extensive training, Andrea Shaw competed in two-figure competitions in 2008, finishing third and fourth, but she didn’t believe she was headed in the right direction. She had an 8-year break from competition.
Later, she returned to competitive bodybuilding, this time competing in the Women’s Physique division, and she registered for her first event. In her return performance, she placed fourth in the 2016 John Simmons Championships.
Andrea Shaw competed in five events in 2018 and won her professional card by placing second at the NPC Nationals. She participated in Women’s Physique competitions till 2019. Later, she transitioned from the Women’s Physique discipline to the Women’s Bodybuilding division during the 2019 Toronto Pro Supershow, and the rest is history.
She has participated in seven bodybuilding competitions and has won five of them. She won the 2020 IFBB Omaha Pro. Additionally, she now holds three Ms. Olympia title wins and two Ms. Rising Phoenix title wins.
