Famous Brazilian bodybuilder and fitness icon Alana Paiva passed away in a strange motorcycling accident in Rio de Janeiro. The influencer was just 21 years old.

Local media reports state that on October 12, 21 year old Paiva was reportedly riding on the back of her partner, former military captain Uilblim Do EspĂrito Santo, when the horrific disaster occurred.
According to Jam Press, the couple was riding through the Campo Grande district when a van allegedly made an illegal turn at a crossroads, hitting them full force and ripping the handlebars off the motorbike. The driver of the van fled the scene of the collision without offering any assistance. The event is presently being looked into by police. Uilblim Do EspĂrito Santo, Paiva’s boyfriend, also passed away before Alana who went through came for 10 days before she passed away.

Who was Alana Paiva?
Paiva has also been characterised as a Brazilian fitness influencer who regularly uses TikTok and has over 5,000 Instagram followers. She has thousands of likes and more than 2,000 followers on TikTok. Ahead of her death, the bodybuilder influencer was quite active on her official social media accounts.
Talking about her bodybuilding career, her dissatisfaction with her “skinny body” led her to start bodybuilding in 2013. It was difficult for her to perform in front of seven referees because of her bashful nature, she acknowledged in October 2022, but “it’s about believing that it’s possible and focusing on all that learning,” she said.
She faced up against other champions and was declared the overall winner at the end of 2022. She had three podium finishes at the Rio Muscle Contest in March 2023. Not much is known about her and she kept her say from the headlines. However, she was in a relationship with Santo who died alongside her.
