The BMW PGA championship was completed on Sunday. Shane Lowry triumphed in the 2022 BMW PGA Championship.ย The Irishman has won his first tournament since Britain’s 2019 Open. Lowry won the 2022 BMW PGA Series, the flagship event of the DP World Tour. Lowry was a couple shots away when the day began with night leaders Viktor Hovland and Soren Kjeldsen, but his birdie on the final hole, one by five, gave him a one-shot win over McIlroy and Jon Rahm, 8-down 29 (with a bogey) on the nine-back. Sunday put him at the top of the league for most of the day.
