The BMOC league stage The Grind kicked off today, with the top 24 teams vying for a spot in the grand finals, know the 2022 day 1 standings and points table
These teams have been split into three groups and will compete in a round robin style. On Day 1, a total of six matches were played across three maps (Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok.)

Skylightz Gaming had a terrific start, scoring 53 points in their first four games. On the Miramar map, the team’s first chicken supper helped them secure the top spot.
Orangutan Gaming emerged in second place with 53 points, 26 of which came from frags, despite not getting a chicken supper. With a chicken meal and 51 points, Team XSpark, captained by Mavi, took third place. With 47 points each, Global Esports and Hyderabad Hydras held on to fourth and fifth place, respectively.
Team XO, the table-topping team in the qualifiers, had an ordinary day, scoring 38 points. TSM finished in 13th position with 29 points, while Team Soul finished in 18th place with 18 points. GodLike came in 20th position with 16 points, 9 of which were for kills.
Day 1 Highlights
First Match
BMOC On the Erangel Map, the Grind League Stage Day 1 began with the opening match between Group A and Group B. Global Esports won the match with a total of 13 kills. Despite being eliminated in fourth place, Team XSpark finished second in the match standings with 13 frags. With 5 kills, Goblin from Team Soul was voted MVP.
Second Match
Skylightz won the second match with 12 finishes, while 7Sea finished second with 10 frags. With zero points, the Hyderabad Hydras and TrueRippers were eliminated earlier.
Third Match
After some lacklustre results in recent months, Nigma Galaxy got off to a strong start in the competition. With eight finishes, the squad is now in seventh place and has also won the third match on the Sanhok map. In the match, Team XO and Entity gaming scored 17 and 16 points, respectively.
4th, 5th and 6th matches
The Hyderabad Hydras won the fourth match with 13 kills, while the match winner, Mayhem, came in second with 9 kills. With 8 and 9 finishes, Team XSpark and FS Esports won the fifth and sixth matches, respectively.
Exciting Second Day Is Ahead
The second day of the league stage will be a shambles as each club attempts to climb the top. The top 16 teams will compete in the finals. BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA OPEN CHALLENGE – THE GRIND has a total prize fund of 3,15,000 INR, which will be distributed based on the team’s overall placement. In the Grand Finals, the top 16 teams from the League stage will play 24 matches over four days. The winner of the BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA OPEN CHALLENGE: THE GRIND will be the team that finishes first in the overall standings.
