Krafton has announced The Grind, a two-and-a-half-week official Battlegrounds Mobile India practice scrim that will take place prior to the start of the Battlegrounds Mobile Open Challenge (BMOC), know the teams for 2022
The event will be played in three stages and will be limited to 32 teams who will be invited directly to the event.
It will start with 32 teams, but it will boil down to the top 16, who will then compete with the teams that qualify from the in-game qualifiers and get narrowed down to the best of the best.

BMOC 2022 The Grind Format
1. Qualifiers: This is the first stage of the competition, which will take place from March 31 to April 3. All invited teams will compete in four groups of eight teams each in a round-robin format. The top 24 teams move on to the next round, while the bottom eight are knocked out.
2. League Stage: From April 7 to 10, the top 24 qualified teams will be divided into three groups and compete in a round-robin format, with only 16 moving on to the finals.
3. Finals: From April 14 to 17, the top 16 teams will participate in a final round of 24 matches, with the winning team being named.

BMOC 2022 Schedule
The 2022 Battlegrounds Mobile season will begin soon with BMOC. The registration period has ended, and the open online qualifiers will take place from April 4 to April 10. BMOC will conclude on May 15th and will serve as a springboard for the first-ever BattleGrounds Mobile Pro Series (BMPS). BMOC will have no prize pool, whereas BMPS will have a massive prize pool of INR 2 crore, the most for any single esports tournament in India. BMPS is set to take place from May 19 to June 12, with the top 24 BMOC teams competing for glory.
