During practice, Naruhaya confronts Isagi, and the two choose to compete against each other, realizing that a defeat will cause them to be disqualified because of their lower skill levels compared to Barou and Nagi. The next time they play, Barou takes the ball from Nagi and shows off his better scoring range.
Isagi throws to Nagi in the next round, and Nagi utilizes his superb handling to get by Barou and win. Then, Barou attempts to pass the ball to Naruhaya but is blocked by Isagi, who then throws it to Nagi for a second goal. In the next session, furious, Barou takes a kickoff shot but fails to score.

In episode 15 of Blue Lock anime, fans will see the remaining parts of the two-on-two game. The episode appeared to conclude with Naruhaya scoring a goal right in front of Isagi, so conditions don’t seem great for him. Isagi can still change the course of games nevertheless because he adjusts fast throughout matches and plays better when challenged.
Isagi battled his rivals throughout the game while Nagi personally carried the teams and used his tools. While the latter thought that all he had to do was concentrate on Naruhaya, he also proved to be more powerful than him in the battle, leaving Isagi in despair. Naruhaya was spotted releasing a shot as the show came to a close with a score of 2-2. Isagi is aware that eliminating Naruhaya is the key to overcoming his competitors, but as of right now, he hasn’t been successful in doing so. Isagi could therefore be driven to pick up a new skill to win the game.
