Fans of Korean dramas have been waiting patiently for the arrival of Bloodhounds, a noir and action Kdrama starring Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi with its release date now out
This is especially exciting for fans of Woo Do-hwan because it would be his first action and suspense drama since he finished his mandatory military duty in 2022.

Action-pack upcoming drama Bloodhounds is going to release on June 9, 2023, on the Netflix streaming platform. There will be 8 parts to it. Each episode will be 60 minutes long and released simultaneously on the aforementioned OTT service. The drama was adapted from Jeong Chan’s webcomic of the same name. Bloodhounds are known as Sanyanggaedeul in their native Korea.
Their friendship was forged in the boxing ring and now those skills are put to deadly use when they team up to take down a ruthless criminal mastermind.

The Cast of Bloodhounds
In addition to Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi, Kim Sae-ron, Park Sung-woong, and Heo Jun-ho also star in the drama. In this suspenseful and action-packed drama, they will play pivotal roles. Woo Do-hwan plays the upcoming drama Bloodhounds as Kim Geon-woo, a talented boxer and expert in his area.
He strives for his goals, only to have them dashed when he learns that his mother owes money to a shady lender. He quits boxing to take a job with CEO Choi, where he makes a pact to watch out for Choi’s loved one Kim Myung-gil.
Lee Sang-yi will play Hong Woo-jin, a former boxer who joins forces with Kim Geon-woo and works for loan shark industry pioneer CEO Choi. He’s also Woo Do-hwan’s best buddy, and he’d do anything to keep Woo safe.
The fans can’t wait to watch the two become brothers. Cha Hyeon-joo, played by Kim Sae-ron, will be one of Kim Geon-woo and Hong Woo-jin’s key employees in managing and running CEO Choi’s company.
