The finale episode of the series showcased us Ichigo who finally learned about his lineage as well as more about how his parents came together.

The final episode of the series began with a flashback as we witnessed Isshin Shiba who was showing interest in Masaki and wanted to meet her again.
Meanwhile, Masaki went back home while her health deteriorated. Furthermore, she was questioned by Ryuken’s mother about her actions.
After a while, we saw time skip as the episode indicated Masaki had completed her studies. Soon enough, she began a family with Isshin.
Finally we also witness what we were all wondering for a while, the reason behind why Ichigo is a combination of a soul reaper and Quincy.
Well for those who didn’t get it, let us tell you, the reason behind it was that he got the human side from his father and hollow from his mother’s side.
For those who aren’t sure what happened in episode 13, let us tell you, the episode which is titled “The Blade is Me,” began with Ikumi San as she arrives to return Ichigo his Soul Reaper badge.
After a while, Ichigo teleported back to Soul King Palace and Nimaiya started forging with his bodyguard.
At the end of the episode , Ichigo realizes that his form is the same as Yhwach, which was present around thousands years ago.
We also learnt that the Zangestu form, at first he didn’t want Ichigo to hold onto Soul Reaper power however as the time passes by, he becomes happy with his progress.
The episode ended with Uryu meeting Yhwach with Jugram as the former joined hands with Quincy side in the war which was held against the Soul Reapers.
