Much Anticipated Anime, Bleach Thousand Year Blood War will be released in October this year but there is a rumor swirling around the internet regarding the series that it might be streamed on Disney+, know its 2022 release date

However, the infamous franchise has been absent from our screens for a number of years when Season 16 concluded domestically in Japan back in March 2012.
Luckily, there is another Bleach anime in the works, with a new teaser trailer confirming the release date and preview of “Thousand Year Blood War”.
However, as soon as the news about the series releasing announced, a rumour start spreading online that Disney+ has acquired the global streaming rights.
New Chapter in Bleach Anime
Back in March 2020, it was announced that the Bleach’s next manga arc, entitled ‘Thousand Year Blood War’ will be adapted as an anime.
Later, in November 2021, Crunchyroll revealed that the hit franchise would be making an appearance at the then-upcoming Jump Festa event 2022 in Japan which drove the speculations that the return of the anime is on the horizon.
Fortunately, on the day of Jump Festa 2022 celebrations in December, the makers revealed the first trailer for the new anime arc which was later shared online.
As per a report by Per Aniplex Japan, the anime will focus on “Ichigo Kurosaki, who became an “Acting Shinigami” after acquiring the power through a chance encounter.
He is caught up in an upheaval of the Soul Society which is a place where the souls of those who have died in this world gather and have grown up together with their friends through fierce battles”.
The trailer of the anime which was shared at Anime Japan, has confirmed that the anime will be released on the next Fall broadcast slate which is pre-set for October 2022.
Unfortunately, there wasn’t any specific launch date revealed at the time but fans are expecting the anime to premiere in the first two weeks of October this year.
Although the first two episodes of the series are set to be released in advance for the screening on Sept 11th this year.
Initially everyone was expecting Crunchyroll to be the international streaming partner for the anime as the platform currently has all 15 seasons of the main series in their library.
However, now a rumor is swirling around wild online with the series to be simulcast on the Disney Plus streaming service and not on Crunchyroll, HiDive or Netflix.
These rumors firstly began on Twitter with leakers like ‘SugoiLITE‘ and ‘Shonenleaks‘. Although social media rumors should always be taken with a pinch of salt, these two outlets are typically reputable.
However, neither the showrunners nor Disney has made any comment on the leaks, mor did the leaks confirm whether this will be regional to Asian territories.
Similarly, there isn’t any information revealed as of how many episodes there will be in the series. Although previous series have between 16 and 51 episodes barring season 11 which consisted of only 7 episodes.
Production Staff And Voice Cast?
The ‘Thousand-Year Blood War’ Anime arc will be directed by Tomohisa Taguchi, a veteran of the anime industry.
The characters design incharge will be Masashi Kudo while the music composition will be lead by Shiro Sagisu with Michio Hasegawa, Sey Komatsubara. The Chief animation director will be Kumiko Takayanagi.
As like the previous seasons of Bleach, the series will be animated by Studio Pierrot.
