The fifth season of the famous Malayalam reality TV show Bigg Boss began with a bang on Sunday, 26th of March 2023. It premiered with a grand opening at sharp 7 p.m. on Asianet as well as online on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar.
The show has been produced by Endemol Shine India and Banijay. This season of Big Boss Malayalam is hosted by Malayalam megastar Mohanlal for 5th time. He is hosting this show since its inception on the 24th of June, 2018.
The last season was aired on 27th March 2022 and ended on 3rd of July 2022. This season was won by Dilsha Prasannan and she was the first woman to win the Bigg Boss Malayalam show.
