For those who are unversed, let us tell you, Season 9 of the Bigg Boss Kannada has hosted its much-awaited grand finale on New Year’s Eve, on Sunday, January 1, 2023.
After the grand finale episode of the show, the fans of the Bigg Boss have finally got the winner of the season. For those who are unsure, let us tell you, Roopesh Shetty has emerged as the winner of the 9th installment.

Followed by the winner, another contestant, Rakesh Adiga became the first runner-up of the season.
The grand finale night of the reality show ended in a quite fantastic way as the Host Kiccha Sudeep handed out the trophy to Roopesh Shetty. Apart from the trophy, the winner of the season also got the cash prize of a sum Rs. 50 Lakh. Adiga meanwhile won Rs.12 lakhs.
The four contestants who made it to the top includes:
Roopesh Shetty,
Rupesh Rajanna,
Deepika Das, and
Rakesh Adiga.
Out of these four participants, Deepika and Rupesh become the second and third runner-up respectively.
For those who aren’t familiar, let us tell you, Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9 was held in two parts. The first part of the grand finale was broadcasted on Saturday, December 30, 2022.
Whereas the second part of the finale took place on Sunday, January 1st, 2023. The winner of the season, Roopesh Shetty works in Tulu, Kannada, and Konkani films.
Apart from being an actor, he is also a model and a radio jockey. Previously, Roopesh participated in season 1 of Bigg Boss Kannada OTT. At the time too, he emerged as the winner of the season.
On the other hand, the runner-up Rakesh Adiga is a Sandalwood actor who has also participated in season 1 of Bigg Boss Kannada OTT.
As for Deepika Das, she is also an actor and previously she has worked in Sandalwood and Tollywood film industry.
In 2019, Deepika participated in the reality show Bigg Boss for its 7th installment. At the time, she also emerged as one of the finalists.
