For the curious, a source close to the makers of the show has revealed to the media that the biggest Indian television show Bigg Boss will air next month starting August 2025. Let us remind you, earlier, media reports alleged that the show will return soon and now once again they are claiming Bigg Boss 19 will be hitting our screens in August on JioCinema likely from 30th August.
According to reports, Salman Khan will charge between Rs. 120-150 crores for the show.
Salman will host for the first three months on weekends, and the show will also have guest hosts like Farah Khan, Karan Johar, and others. Bigg Boss 19 will last for a total of five months, and this will be its biggest season to date with an AI theme.
15 contestants and an additional 3-5 wild card entries are expected to be on the show this time.

Though, at the time of writing this article, there isn’t any information available about the specific release date of BB 19 as a specific date for the show hasn’t locked by the makers till now. Though, earlier reports did allege that the show will premiere on August 2, however, as of now it isn’t confirmed.
Though, the reports did mention a change that this time Bigg Boss 19 will first air on JioHotstar (OTT) and later transitioning to TV.

Host & Theme
Bigg Boss 19 as usual will be hosted by fans favorite Salman Khan and the theme for this year will be Rewind. Though reports claim that this year a lot of things will change like a secret room concept that used to exist in the earlier season may return.
Some reports claim that this time the contestants might not have the power to nominate their fellow housemates and that now it will happen through audience voting. Additionally, if a task got canceled, the housemates have to go without ration for the entire week.
