The Round of 64 will be held on the first and second days, with 32 teams moving to the one-day Semifinals and the Grand Finals, which will see the top 16 teams compete, will be played on the last day, i.e., June 4.

Krafton has extended invitations to 64 squads, comprising professional gamers and streamers, to participate in the launch party. Also the identities of all participating teams have been kept under wraps, yet Krafton has shared the names of renowned players like Scout, Owais, and Sensei, featured in the thumbnail of the scheduled livestream for day one.

Enthusiasts who want to catch all the live-action can watch the BGMI Rising Launch Party 2023 on the official Battlegrounds Mobile India YouTube channel. The tournament will be broadcast daily at 4:00 pm IST, starting from June 1.

For the initial phase of the tournament, the 64 squads will be divided into four groups. Popular streamers like Mortal, Regaltos, and Snax have confirmed their participation, while numerous organizations are already building lineups for future BGMI eSports competitions.

Introducing the casters for BGMI rising Launch Party 2023

The BGMI Rising event will feature four popular casters – Ocean, Ankiiibot, Mazy, and Spero. They are recognized figures in the field with extensive experience, and Ocean Sharma has previously casted in several prominent Battlegrounds Mobile India, PUBG Mobile, and Valorant tournaments.

With the game’s re-release, Krafton anticipates organizing several more eSports tournaments throughout the year. The company hosted numerous competitions with lucrative cash prizes prior to Battlegrounds Mobile India’s ban in July 2022.

In the previous year, Krafton hosted the phenomenal BMPS Season 1 with a hefty prize pool of $257K. The first-ranked team in the tournament was Team Soul.

The triumphant return of Battlegrounds Mobile India was marked by the game topping Google Play Store’s free charts within 24 hours of its re-release, a testament to the immense love the gaming community has for the battle royale title.
