Nodwin Gaming has confirmed all the details for BGMI Masters Series aka BGMS season 3 2024, including the format, schedule, teams and prize money pool

Notably, the organizers have introduced a new format where the audience will get the choice to decide the team qualifications this year.

The tournament, which takes place across 22 days is divided into four stages: Opening Week, League Week, Playoffs, and Grand Finals.

BGMS Masters Series season 3 schedule and format 

Given below is the full schedule and format for the upcoming competition:

Opening Week

July 19 – July 21, 2024

The organizers will divide the 24 teams into three groups of eight teams each who will then compete in a round-robin format across three-match days. Once all the matches are completed, the top 18 teams from the overall points standings will qualify for League Week.

Notably, the bottom six teams will also get a chance to qualify for “League Week” through audience voting. The voting will begin after the opening week, with the top two teams from the voting results advancing to League Week.

League Week

July 22 – August 4, 2024

The top 20 teams from Opening Week will compete in League Week for 14 match days, following which the top four teams will advance to the “Finals”. The fifth to 20th-ranked teams will then move to the “Playoffs.”

Playoffs

August 6 – 7, 2024

The bottom 16 teams from League Week will face off in the playoffs where the only the top 12 teams will qualify for the finals.

Finals

August 9 – 11, 2024

The finals round will feature the top four teams from League Week and the top 12 teams from the Playoffs. After three intense match days, the top-ranked team from the overall standings will become the champions of BGMI Season 3 Masters Series.

While 20 of the teams received direct invites for the event team Sarkar Gaming qualified through the OneBlade Qualifier. Meanwhile, Carpediem, Viking Esports, and Vasista Esports all qualified by finishing in the top three positions during the TVS Wicked Battle Qualifiers.

While the prize pool for this year hasn’t been revealed, the prize money on offer back in 2022 amounted to Rs.1.52 crore.
