The finals round of the BGMI Diwali Battle LAN Season 2 is set to take place over two days in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Ahead of the start of the competition finals, organizers Upthrust Esports revealed all the event details and also stated that it would be a LAN event.

The upcoming competition will be a two-day event, taking place on the 7th and 8th of November.

BGMI Diwali Battle LAN Finals Prize Pool breakdown

The event features a whopping total prize pool of INR 35,00,000. In the semi-finals round, the two winners each won Rs. 2 lakh, while the second and third-placed teams won cash prizes of Rs. 1.5 lakh and Rs. 1 lakh, respectively.  The Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the event also won a prize of Rs. 50,000. As such, fans can expect an even bigger amount for the grand finals.

Competition format

This year’s event marks the competition’s second edition and features two different rounds: the semi-finals and the grand finals. Ahead of the upcoming finals, the semi-finals kicked off on October 17, 2023, featuring 24 teams competing against each other. Now the eight teams will compete in the grand finals.

The event will feature a total of 16 teams, including some big names and fan favorites like Gods Reign, Team Soul, Godlike Esports, and more. The competition also includes teams that recently took part in the BGMI India-Korea Invitational in Delhi. Ahead of the competition, the organizers shortlisted the 16 teams out of the 24 that competed in the semifinals. Given below is the full list of the 16 competing teams:
