Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is a popular battle royale game developed and published by South Korean video game company Krafton.
BGMI 2.8 Update leaked release date
According to various leaks, the highly anticipated BGMI 2.8 update is set for a release somewhere around mid-October 2023.
BGMI 2.8 update new features
The new BGMI 2.8 update will feature lots of new features like the zombie mode. Players will also get to use various superpower abilities similar to the current Dragon Ball Super mode. Aside from them, the developers have also fixed some of the bugs in the upcoming update.
Zombie Mode
The new zombie mode will feature in BGMI once the developers launch the 2.8 update. Under the zombie mode, players will access a theme mode in Erangel with two points of interest in the mode: Aerolith Lab and Zombie Outpost.
Aerolith Lab
In Aerolith Lab, players will face a giant zombie boss which they can eliminate to obtain a good amount of loot rewards. These loot rewards included two new powers that players can use for climbing apartments and for dashing in the air. Players will however, have to look out for enemies as well.
Zombie Outpost
Under the Zombie outpost, players will get the chance to see two types of zombies – the Mutant Burzerker and the Mutant Destroyer. Players can eliminate both of these zombies to gain different kinds of powers in loot.

- Firstly, open the BGMI app
- Got to the bottom right corner of the screen and tap on the โUpdatesโ button
- Head to the โDownloadโ button and tap on it to download the new update
- Wait for the update to get downloaded
- Tap on the โInstallโ button to install the new 2.8 update
