The Grind is an official scrims session held for invited teams before to the start of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023. Leaks claim that BGIS 2023: The Grind will begin on July 20, 2023, setting the stage for BGIS 2023, which will take place after The Grind.
It can be expected that the schedule and total number of matches based on the eight-day The Grind competition in 2021 will include 32 invited teams. There are parallels to this year as well however nothing has been confirmed.
BGIS 2023 The Grind is set to kick off around July 20th.
BGIS The Grind is divided into two stages: a league stage, in which 32 invited teams compete. These teams are split into four groupsโA, B, C, and Dโeach of which has eight teams. In six days, 24 matches are played in the first league stage.
It takes two days to play the final stage. A cash pool of 200,000 INR is up for grabs for the top 16 teams from the league stage.
Based on past official events, teams are getting invited to the BGIS 2023 Grind and some Tier 1 teams are already known, like Team Soul, Godlike, OR Esports, and more. This time, underdog teams from BGIS Season 1 are also getting invites, as are the teams that performed well in the inaugural season of BGIS 2021 rounds 2, 3, and 4 and the team performed well in the inaugural season of BGIS 2021 and reached rounds 2, 3, and 4.
The team member for whom they registered can check their registered email. Check for the mail in spam or inbox. Players need to remember that only registered emails get the invitation if they are invited to The Grind.
Though these are merely leaks, it is highly possible that BGIS 2023 The Grind will take place on that day. This is a blatant indication that the official Battlegrounds Mobile India event will soon happen.
