The inaugural edition of a BGMI discussion programme dubbed Chai Time aired earlier. GHATAK, Thug, and Ocean Sharma, all BGMI influencers, appeared on the much-anticipated chat show. Mazy, a popular BGMI caster, hosted the conversation show, which focused on the impending BGIS 2021 event in depth.
With the announcement of the official scrims event BGIS 2021: The Grind, the two-week tournament, which will feature 32 invited teams, will serve as a practise session for the teams before the major event begins.

With the announcement of the official scrims event BGIS 2021: The Grind, the two-week tournament, which will feature 32 invited teams, will serve as a practice session for the teams before the major event begins.
Schedule, Prize Pool And Format For BGIS 2021
The 32 invited teams will be split into four groups and compete in a two-week round-robin style. Week 1 will take place from the 2nd to the 5th of December, while Week 2 will take place from the 9th to the 12th of December. In the forthcoming two-week event, the teams will compete for a total of eight days.
The schedule for the three rounds of the BGIS Online Qualifiers was also published alongside the Grind event. The following is the schedule:
1024 teams will compete in Round 1, with 512 teams qualifying. Each team will compete in two games.
512 teams will compete in Round 2, with 224 teams qualifying. Each team will compete in two games.
Round 3 will include 256 teams (224 qualified and 32 invited), with 64 qualifying for the Quarter Finals. Three matches will be played for each team.
The new schedule of BGIS 2021 boasts a truly large prize pool of INR 1 crore, was issued a few days ago after a protracted break caused by a spike in hackers in the game.
