At the European Masters, world number two Judd Trump was defeated 5-3 by Kurt Maflin. Maflin secured his win after a great comeback in the last few rounds. Meanwhile, world number three Ronnie O’Sullivan defeated Wu Yize, a Chinese 18-year-old with a score of 5-1.
With this, both of the world’s best players are out of the tournament in early stages. Number three O’Sullivan is currently the favorite to win the tournament.
