List Of Best Sports To Practice To Stay In Shape, Burn Calories, Lose Belly Fat, Weight And Play

Basketball

One of my personal favorite sports to play is basketball, as you can do this by yourself by shooting around or in a game setting. Running around and breaking a sweat is very easy when playing basketball, even when you are shooting because so much of your body is used to create a shot as you have your arms and legs both positioned correctly to get the ball in the hoop.

Not to mention the cardio that you need to run up and down the court if you are playing a full-court game or even the conditioning just to be able to jump for your shot and grab rebounds. Basketball is something that you can do with any amount of people and enjoy no matter what.

Kickball

One of the best schoolyard games played growing up is kickball, as it is essentially a mixture of baseball and dodgeball thrown into one. For those of you unfamiliar with kickball because it is not a traditional sport, the rules are like baseball, but you can get a person out by throwing the kickball at them as well.

It is an extremely entertaining sport as you get to kick the ball as hard and far as you can, and playing the field, specifically the outfield, can cause a sweat. In itself, running after the ball after the hitter rocks one over your head. It is one of the best nostalgic games that you can play with a big group of people and burn some excess weight in the process.

Tennis

Tennis is one of the more active sports, which you would not get by the looks of the court itself. However, tennis is one of the more physically demanding sports as you constantly are hitting the ball back and forth with a partner or an adversary. This sport takes a lot out of you to the point that pickleball was invented to play this sport while also not having to cover as much ground.

The only thing is this is a sport where you need an additional person to participate. Otherwise, you are just hitting tennis balls, which is still a little workout in itself.

Boxing

This is one of those that might make you shake your head, but you can do boxing workouts without having to be punched in the face. Sparring and shadow boxing are two incredible ways that you can burn some calories as well as get some aggression out.

There are loads of workouts that you can do, like hitting the heavy bag to make sure you are continuously moving and working up a sweat. Whether you have a partner or are just going in alone, you can get stronger and faster just by doing some traditional boxing workouts, and that definitely will help you stay in shape.

Conclusion

There any hundreds of different sports you can play to burn some extra weight off and not have to just sit inside of a weight room staring at some equipment for an extended period of time. Whether you are by yourself or with a group of friends just trying to kill some time, there are definitely some entertaining things to do.
