On CBS News, Kohberger’s student Benjamin Roberts revealed an encounter he had with the killer. Roberts told the media outlet that Kohberger had assured him he could “go down to a bar or a club and pretty much have any chick I want.”

Roberts comments follow those of other internet users who questioned whether or not Kohberger had previously met Kaylee Goncalves and Madison Mogen at the Corner Club, a trendy Moscow watering hole.

On December 30th, Pennsylvania law enforcement arrested 28-year-old Bryan Kohberger in connection with the fatal stabbings of Kaylee Goncalves, Maddie Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin on November 13th. After seven weeks of investigation, including 300 interviews and 20,000 tips, an arrest was made. Several of Kohberger’s former high school and college friends have spoken out after his arrest to provide insight on the suspect’s character.

One of Kohberger’s former classmates had previously noted that nobody liked him and called him “creepy” when they were in high school. “I honestly think that’s what led up to this because he didn’t get the proper help, and it was mainly females that bullied him,” she added.

Someone earlier stated that she and Kohberger went on a Tinder date. “He gave me really creepy vibes and I was scared to ask him to leave so I pretended to loudly vomit in the bathroom so he would leave. Always listen to your gut,” the woman wrote in the comment section of a post about Kohberger.

Meanwhile, an affidavit that was released on Thursday, January 5 indicates officials have assembled DNA evidence, telephone data, and security video against Kohberger. According to the complaint, DNA matching his was recovered on a knife sheath retrieved at the crime site.

According to the affidavit, Kohberger’s phone was in the neighbourhood of the victims’ home multiple times before the murders, and it remained there shortly following the attack despite appearing to be turned off during the early morning assault.

A source within the Monroe County Correctional Facility informed NewsNation that the suspected mass murderer was asked why he killed four college students in Moscow, Idaho. “I didn’t do anything,” he allegedly shot back.

Kohberger spent five days locked up in the Stroudsburg prison after his arrest Friday at his parents’ house in Albrightsville, Pennsylvania, on claims he knifed Kaylee Goncalves, Ethan Chapin, Madison Mogen and Xana Kernodle to death on Nov. 13 in a rented home near campus.

Kohberger was supplied with a suicide vest and placed in a cell with a glass door that afforded minimal privacy, according to the report. Another convict allegedly threatened Kohberger, who had been studying criminology at Washington State University.

The source claimed that Kohberger’s request for vegan meals at the facility was granted. The news outlet claims his diet consisted of peanut butter and jelly, apple sauce, veggies, beans, rice, cereal, and possibly potatoes.

Kohberger waived extradition Tuesday in the Monroe County Courthouse and was flown to Pullman, Washington, the next day on a Pennsylvania State Police Pilatus PC-12 single-engine turbo-prop plane, flight records show.
